Hello, I am Nancy Lohrmeyer, serving on the Aurora City Council since January 2017. I am a native of Hamilton County and a graduate of Aurora High School and earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Kearney State College. In 1990 I moved back to Aurora, married my husband Eric and started employment with the local State Farm Insurance office, becoming a licensed staff member.
As a past member of the Aurora JayCees, I was given the opportunity to be a part of the Leadership Tomorrow Class. This led to my appointment to the Aurora Planning Commission, a position I enjoyed for over 15 years before being elected to the city council. Eric and I were part of the founding committee members for Boy Scout Troop 28. I am a life-long member of the Aurora United Methodist Church.
My interests include the fine arts, history, reading, knitting, camping, hiking and gardening, especially when these activities include my husband and two children.
Please feel free to contact me with your questions and concerns with city matters. My phone is 402.694.4535 and my mailing address is 114 13th St, Aurora. Thank you for your interest in Aurora’s city government.
