As a member of the local governing body, the Aurora City Council, the City Council is responsible for the development of policy, and also for the legislative oversight of the administrative and fiduciary functions of the City.
2012 marks the second year of my current four year term. Prior to being appointed to the City Council, I had not served the City in any elective office.
I am an Optometrist and have practiced my profession at Pearle Vision in Grand Island since 1995.
Working out of town has limited my volunteer involvement in the community. I have been active in the Aurora United Methodist Church, and have also been a member of the Optimist Club.
My hobbies include enjoying movies, plays, music, cooking and exercise. My wife Peg and I enjoy time with our children and extended family. We enjoy planning things as much as doing them.
